Recipe for Kimchi Pasta Gratin

  • Butter 30g 
  • Onions, Chopped 10g 
  • Bacon, Diced 30g
  • Jongga Kimchi, Chopped 50g
  • Dry White Wine 5Ml
  • Heavy Cream 250Ml
  • Table Salt to Taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to Taste
  • Short Shape Pasta 150g
  • Parmesan Cheese, Grated 30g
  • Cheddar Cheese, Shredded 20g


  1. Pre heat the oven to 180C
  2. Melt 20 gr of butter in a suitable pan and start to cook onions for about 3 minutes
  3. Add diced bacon and Kimchi cook for 5 minutes 
  4. Pour wine and let it evaporate
  5. Pour cream and season with salt and black pepper keep cooking for 10 minutes at low heat
  6. Meanwhile cook pasta according to package instruction keeping al dente
  7. When the pasta is ready, drain and mix with sauce and parmesan cheese
  8. Melt rest of butter on a baking tray or large baking bowl
  9. Place the pasta into the prepared tray or bowl and bake for 15-20 minutes.
